When does WoW Forever launch?
Official WoW Forever launches worldwide on 4 Nov 2026 at 3:00 pm PT.
When is the WoW Forever beta?
Official The beta runs from 17 Sep 2026 to 21 Oct 2026. Guaranteed access comes with the Skyborne Epic Pack, the Warcraft Forever Collection and the Collector's Edition, and a free opt-in gives everyone else a chance to be picked.
What time does the WoW Forever beta start?
Reported Blizzard's live WoW Forever Q&A starts at 10:30am PDT (6:30pm BST) on 17 Sep 2026, and the beta is reported to open straight after it. Blizzard has not published an exact opening time.
Is the WoW Forever beta open to everyone?
Official No. Access is only guaranteed with the Skyborne Epic Pack, the Warcraft Forever Collection or the Collector's Edition. Anyone can opt in for free on the official WoW Forever page for a chance to be selected. The Skyborne Heroic Pack does not include beta access.
What is the level cap in the WoW Forever beta?
Reported Developers said in an interview that the beta opens capped at level 20 and rises to 30 after a couple of weeks. Blizzard has not confirmed this in a written post.
Will my WoW Forever beta character carry over to launch?
Reported Expect a wipe. Developers said beta progress will most likely not carry over to launch.
Do I need a subscription to play WoW Forever?
Official Yes. Forever is included with a World of Warcraft subscription or Game Time. Optional upgrade packs add content and cosmetics.
Is the Skyborne race free?
Official No. The Skyborne race and its Zephras Isle starting zone come with the paid upgrade packs, starting with the Skyborne Heroic Pack.
When do the first raids open?
Official Barrow Deeps (10 players) and Hyjal Summit (20 players) open on 9 Dec 2026.
When can I reserve character names?
Official Early name reservation runs from 27 Oct 2026 to 3 Nov 2026 and comes with any upgrade pack. You can reserve up to 3 names.
When does Hardcore arrive in WoW Forever?
Official Hardcore arrives after launch, in winter. Hardcore characters can move to other rule sets, but only one way.
